A detective arrived on scene and went with the volunteers to identify the area. As he was leaving, he said he didn’t know if police would return.

They searched the ‘well’ in the back yard of that old abandoned home before it was demolished…oh that’s right…it was scheduled to be demolished so they had to get there first and make it look good like the search of the field for Kara Kopetsky which was scheduled for construction to begin a few days after.
