Do you know about Riley Fox’s murder and how her dad was treated? Police are very similar in their methods no matter where ya go….even my friend was treated in a similar manner when her BFF went missing and was found…MURDERED…BY OTHER PEOPLE…the BS hours and hours of interrogation/accusation, scare tactics about non-kidnapping/murder issues while in “the box”, and even the dead body photo fest.
Did Deborah make Lisa vanish? hmmm I dunno.
Have KCPD and the FBI pulled out all the stops to make it seem she did? Heck yah.
Would they accept a confession that was false? I would not doubt that they would.
‘He says officers called Debbie white trash in their interviews, told her to cut the innocence act, that it was obvious she’d killed Lisa. They said they’d found the body, showed her burnt clothes, he says.’
“Whenever a policing agency extracts a false confession to a violent crime the entire community is put at risk.”
“Instead, Will County sheriff’s detectives focused almost exclusively on Riley’s father, Kevin.”
‘Zellner said the trauma of Riley’s daughter made Kevin vulnerable to what she calls psychological manipulation by interrogators.
Kevin said detectives showed him pictures of Riley’s dead body and would not let him speak with his father or an attorney. They took him into a very small room and interrogated him for 14 hours. Kevin said detectives told him they had reason to believe that he had killed Riley. “They broke me down mentally, physically, emotionally … but I stayed strong. I knew … I, I denied everything, everything that they would say to me,” he said.
Kevin agreed to taking a polygraph test, confident he’d pass. Afterwards, detectives told him he’d failed. Finally, Kevin broke, offering a statement admitting he killed Riley.’
