KCPD Chief Forte – ‘not trying to vilify the family’

“At a meeting with The Kansas City Star’s editorial board, Forte said the police were “not trying to vilify the family” in the Lisa Irwin case.

Forte stressed that in the case of Lisa Irwin, the police have good reasons to not suspect the child’s parents. … the most important of those questions have yet to be answered.”

As Capt. Steve Young scoffed about getting the tip that solves the case.

What is that ‘most important’ question?

I have most important questions…do you allow and condone detectives’ use of the racial slur “white trash” as was alleged by Deborah Bradley’s family member?

Do you allow and condone other slurs being said to and of people of other races during any other interrogations?

More people should start speaking up, at least to the media, if they experience that kind of thing.
